ATTENDANCE NEWS
This is a reminder about attendance and lateness procedures in place at Mill Park Heights Primary School. Absence Please ensure your child attends school on all school days unless ill. Every day of school missed impacts upon children. Research shows that poor attendance has a damaging effect on children academically, socially and emotionally and into the future. If your child is absent, please send a note of explanation when your child returns to school. If your child is absent for 3 consecutive days, the classroom teacher will call you to see how they are. If there has been a pattern of absences during a calendar month, the year level PLT leader will call to discuss and offer support with any issues you may have in getting your child to school.
Lateness Just a reminder to parents that students need to be on time every day. If your child comes to school after 9:00am, you must accompany them to the office and sign them in for safety reasons. If they have not been signed in by a parent, the office staff will contact you.
