Year 2 Discovery Inquiry
During Term Three, the 2 students explored the key concept of ‘Discovery’ as their Inquiry topic. Students followed the inquiry process to explore how we could use our knowledge of light, sound and materials to support us to design and create a puppet show in teams. The year 2s used classic fairytales to tell a story. Enjoy the hard work the students put in to create these magnificent puppet shows!
Last Thursday all the Year 2’s participated in the Potato Olympics. The students all created their own Olympic athlete using their potato. The Potato Olympics begun with an opening ceremony. Students then participated in 4 events with their potato athlete including Diving, Gymnastics, Running and Weightlifting. We held a closing ceremony where a gold, silver and bronze medallist was awarded for each of the events.
This was certainly a highlight of Year 2!
