FIRST NATIONS STUDENTS @ MPHPS

At Mill Park Heights Primary School, our First Nations students work together throughout the year to share their culture and celebrate important dates with the whole school, (such as NAIDOC week). Our students have the opportunity to participate in a range of engaging incursions such as dance and music performances and excursions to local places of significance.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment that strengthens connections between families, our school and community services by working closely with community leaders and our Koorie Education Support Officers. Through art programs, playing traditional games and participating in cultural learning experiences, students are supported to develop pride in their identity and connections to their community.
